WELCOME TO THE DOUBLE DOLLAR LIVESTOCK
INTERN PROGRAM
As you can see, we do not provide four walls for your classroom. Our training facility is located in the beautiful high desert valley of Holden, Utah near the base of the Wasatch Mountains. We don't offer a "room with a view", even though our scenery is nothing short of spectacular. We are a modern working ranch with an experience to offer you, which you couldn't find on campus, anywhere.
- Outdoor Arenas
- Indoor Round Pens
- Indoor Cutting Arena
- Indoor Grooming Facility
- 95 Indoor Stalls
- Bunkhouse
" Surrounded by 7500 deeded acres from irrigated pastures to sand dunes--this is where class is held."
If you are interested in gaining extensive experience in the roping, reining, cutting or green-horse breaking programs, please contact us.
This is a very physically demanding program working with horses 8 to 12 hours per day for 22 to 46 weeks. You will be required to learn many different tasks other than training such as: maintaining stalls, care of tack, feeding and grooming of horses.
You will also be involved in many of the other aspects of ranching from checking cattle on the high mountain range to branding and calving cows and foaling mares.
We have a strong commitment to provide all interns with a positive and productive environment. Teamwork and mutual respect for others is a vital part of this commitment. Our goal is to help you be independently capable of pursuing your own career in the equine industries.
